The primary consideration in selecting a vibrator is the wall thickness of the mounting surface. Vibrators are mounted on the 'live', or sloped, section of the bin. If the size of the live section of the bin is outside of the vibrator capacity range for the wall thickness, multiple vibrators as specified by the NAVCO Bin Mapping System should be considered. Bin wall reinforcement would also be a consideration.
